Have a look at our wonderful actors and actresses who took part in our Christmas Play entitled “Are we nearly there yet..?” on Monday 16^th December in the Glencorrib Community Centre.

A wonderful night was had by all!

We are delighted to announce that Glencorrib National School has been named the overall winner in the 2013 Best Kept School Awards!

The awards ceremony was held in the offices of Áras an Chontae in Castlebar, where repesentatives of the school were presented with a monetary prize and a certificate acknowledging our wonderful achievement.

Out of the hundreds of entries received from schools across the county, we are proud and delighted to have won the top title in this prestigious environmental awards scheme and will continue to keep up the good work!

The staff and Board of Management of Glencorrib National School would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the Annual Cake Sale on Sat 30^th November.

A special word of thanks to all those who baked beautiful cakes and buns, brought in items and hampers for the raffle, provided refreshments, sold raffle tickets or helped out in any way.

The total amount raised was a fantastic €1,400!
