Hallowe’en Horror!

We have been super busy during the week completing lots of Hallowe’en art and activities.

On Friday, it  was an extra exciting morning at Glencorrib N.S as all of our children arrived to school in such amazing costumes! Great fun was had throughout the day at our Hallowe’en party, we even got some pizza for our lunch!

We would like to wish all our children and families a very happy and safe mid-term break.

Autumn Gardening!

It is great to be back working in our school garden again.

Our senior room have been busy over the last month tidying up our sensory garden, planting autumn window boxes and they have also set some new climbers at our pergola.

We all really enjoy gardening, especially this year as we are beginning work on our new  flag for Green Schools Ireland – ‘Biodiversity’.

Have a look at some photos of our wonderful work.

Autumn Art!

Last week our junior room collected some beautiful autumn leaves in the school garden, which they used to make  ‘Leaf People’ in art.

What wonderful and creative artists we have in our school!

Have a look at some of the fabulous works shown in the picture by our 1st and 2nd class.
