Today we took part in a ‘Spring Nature Walk for Seachtain na Gaeilge’ organised by Green Schools Ireland.
It was a wonderful activity and we all really enjoyed exploring the school grounds as well as some other local areas in the village of Glencorrib. We found lots of interesting spring flowers, buds and even some lovely lambs!
We are currently working towards achieving our 5th green flag – biodiversity, and hope to complete many more nature walks over the coming months to search for more native Irish flowers, trees and wildlife.
Have a look at some pictures from our day.
