This week we have been celebrating ‘Biodiversity Week’ in Glencorrib N.S. as we are currently working towards achieving our 5th green flag ‘Biodiversity’.

We have been completing nature scavenger hunts, making beautiful butterflies in art and also planting some new trees in our school garden.

Wednesday was an extra special day as all of our pupils walked, cycled or scooted to school for ‘National WOW Day’ and we all dressed in beautiful, brightly coloured clothing to symbolize biodiversity. We were very proud of the fantastic effort put in by all our pupils and families. Well done everyone!

I think you’ll agree that the boys and girls look brilliant in all their different colours!

It’s great to see so many of our younger pupils taking part in football training with the Under 7’s in the local Shrule Glencorrib Club.
