As always, the excitement on our last day of school was tinged with sadness, as we bid farewell to our wonderful 6th class pupils, Jonathan, Kevin, Angie, Ethan and Liam.

We will miss them all but wish them continued success and happiness as they graduate from national school and move into a new and exciting chapter of their lives in secondary school.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our pupils and families a very happy, healthy and safe summer holidays. We look forward to welcoming you all back to Glencorrib NS in September.

Monday was a very exciting day in school as we held our annual ‘Sports Day’.

In the morning, we had great fun competing in lots of fun races including egg and spoon, three legged race and the sack race.

In the afternoon, our teachers set up different activities for us including a ‘Throw the Welly’ and a ‘Picking Potatoes’ competition.

We all had a great, fun-filled day!

Congratulations to our wonderful 2nd Class pupils on making their First Confessions today.

They did a fantastic job! Well done boys and girls!

We look forward to celebrating the First Communion on Sat 9th October at 12pm.

Our Junior Room created some beautiful ‘Sea Life’ dioramas last week using old recycled boxes.

Everyone really enjoyed this art activity and we are all so proud of their wonderful creations!
