Green Schools’ Action Day

On Thursday we held our ‘Action Day’ for our Green Schools’ travel flag.

There was great excitement in the morning as everyone who travelled to school by walking, cycling or carpooling was greeted with a delicious breakfast on their arrival!

Throughout the day, we completed lots of travel and climate action related activities including designing our own shoes in the junior room and the senior room recycled and redesigned their old shoes.

In the evening, we held a ‘Climate Action’ themed quiz using the ipads.

We had a great day and are hoping that we will receive our Green Schools Travel flag in the next few months.
