School Tour

On Wednesday 5th June, Múinteoir Orna’s class went on their school tour to the National Aquarium Centre in Salthill, Galway.  They started their tour in the Discovery Science section where they took part in many experiments (making rockets, cornstarch “goo”, water tornadoes and observing shells under the microscope.)  They then were given a tour of the Aquarium where they got to see some really cool things. They also got to hold a spider crab and a starfish and touch the ray fish and feed the mullet.  Everybody really enjoyed it.  It was such a sunny day that they then had a picnic outside, followed by ice-cream from Supermacs.
